The brand was born in 1907. From 1921 Cesare Rizzato, an artisan loom builder in Padua, began producing under the Ceriz brand, to which the Atala brand would be added and, later, the prestigious Maino and Dei, and others including Lygie. Atala won the first Giro d’Italia with Ganna. They raced with Atala Pavesi and Galetti. The bike in question is in excellent condition, original paint, chrome and decals.
It is equipped with Universal patented brakes. 453949. Ambrosio handlebar and stem. Simplex shifter and derailleur. You look for Flames. The hubs, cranks, headset and saddle are Atala marked.
The bike has been completely serviced and is ready to ride.
