Edelweiss, based in Turin, is a bicycle manufacturing company, which had a relatively short life.Despite this, in 1949, he set up a racing team with the intention of promoting the brand by making use of the experience of Giuseppe Pelà, who at the time was already recognized as one of the most important Italian frame builders, for the construction of the frames.Pelà himself followed the team as a mechanic during the various races and in particular at the Giro d’Italia.The team included notable riders such as Bizzi from Livorno.
The bike presented is in good condition, naturally showing the signs of aging, and has arrived today completely original. Frame built by Giuseppe Pelà for the racing team.
