Vitus stands out for its production of frames in the 1970s, and has played a fundamental role in the design and design of aluminum frames with glued joints. The most famous is the 979 model, innovative at the time and still prized among collectors today. In 1982 the “979 carbon” was released, one of the first carbon fiber frames deriving from the aerospace industry. Subsequently, and even more innovative, Vutus produces the “Carbon Kevlar”, a carbon frame mixed with Kevlar fibres.

The bike presented is in excellent condition. Fits a SCHIMANO DURA ACE 8v groupset. 3TTT handlebar and stem, Concor saddle.

The bike has been completely serviced and is ready to ride.
